Fishing the Pennsylvania, Ohio & New York waters...

We have scrapped plans for the fall Lake Ontario fishing. We have historically been very busy here in August without the trouble of relocating a boat and crew. With that being said: We still have lots of opportunities available for weekends and weekday trips in August and September. The walleye fishing has been great with good numbers of large fish coming in daily. Our last trip saw our clients land 3 eyes over 9 lbs with an average weight of over 6lbs!

     Something Catchy operates out of Conneaut Harbor in Ohio, Walnut Creek Access Area in Pennsylvania, and in May, Olcott Harbor in the New York Waters of Lake Ontario. We offer this flexibility to accommodate our clients from multiple states and also to afford our customers additional fishing opportunities. At times, the fishing can be good in one location and slow in another. When this happens, we take you where the fish are. The "About Our Charters" section has directions to the locations.

     We operate 2 boats. SCC One is a Sportcraft 252. She can comfortably fish 6 for perch and 4-5 for walleye. SCC Two is a Sportcraft 272. She can handle 6 for either walleye or perch. Both boats are very clean, well maintained, fishing machines. Both have enclosed bathrooms (not porta-potties), the latest electronics, and a full arsenal of up to date tackle.

     We do morning and evening trips, as well as weekday and weekend trips throughout the fishing season. We are truly a full time operation. Trust Something Catchy to put you on the fish and ensure you have a great time.

     Don't forget about our lodge. If you need accommodations, look no further than "The Liar's Den". Our lodge sleeps 6 and is available either the evening before or after your charter. Our "Elite" packages include overnight stays. We have opened our second room in the lodge for 2010. It too will accommodate 6 guests. Both rooms offer cable TV, wireless internet access, refrigerators, coffee pots, microwaves, DVD player, and come fully furnished with toiletries, bedding, etc. There is a common area with fish cleaning station, BBQ grill, fish freezer, and bon fire pit. The boats are 10 miles away.

The lodge is also available to fishermen with their own boats and steelhead fishermen. You do not need to charter with us to book the lodge. Our clients rate our lodge as the nicest accommodations they have rented in the Erie area...
